Our geographic approach is informed by humanitarian needs, community priorities, operational realities, security considerations and the capacity required to deliver programmes responsibly.
Country pages provide an overarching view of WAP’s presence, national humanitarian context, programme priorities, active/completed projects, aggregate results, news, and official publications.
Operational conditions vary within borders. Regional pages detail localized priorities, partner collaborations, assessments, and verified milestones across states and provinces.
Provides the most localized view of WAP’s approved field work, displaying community initiatives, public resources, and stories while safeguarding sensitive operational details.

WAP seeks to understand the humanitarian environment before designing or implementing programmes. Our contextual analysis examines conflict dynamics, displacement, food security, livelihoods, water and sanitation (WASH), health, protection, and climate risks. All context published by WAP relies on credible, verified sources, maintaining a clear distinction between external situation data and results produced by our own programmes.
Communities understand their own priorities, resources, and risks best. We actively partner with community leaders and local groups across assessment, project design, targeting, monitoring, and complaints handling to ensure interventions respect local realities.
Aid interactions can affect local tensions. WAP evaluates how operational presence, recruitment, procurement, and resource distribution interact with social dynamics to avoid exacerbating existing divides.
We ensure that communities affected by our work have direct access to feedback and complaint mechanisms. Communication channels are tailored to local languages, accessibility needs, and safety considerations. Sensitive safeguarding (PSEA), fraud, or whistleblowing concerns are handled via dedicated, confidential, and secure procedures.
Transparency must never compromise community or staff safety. WAP maintains strict disclosure protocols: we do not publish private beneficiary details, individual case locations, staff movement schedules, sensitive travel routes, or confidential community data. Our public reporting focuses on verified, aggregated impact without creating operational security risks.
Locations appear on our platform only when authorized for public disclosure. The CMS distinguishes between Active sites (ongoing programmes) and Completed operations (archived project activities). Planned locations remain unlisted until security and access are formally verified.
We publish verified institutional partnerships, coordination links, and consortia per location to reflect true operational cooperation without overstating relationships.
Where security and operational standards allow, approved institutional contact channels are provided for our regional offices. Personal contact numbers, private residential details, and operational field team identities are withheld to safeguard personnel.
