Suppliers and bidders are expected to provide accurate information and conduct themselves responsibly throughout their engagement with WAP.
WAP seeks to provide eligible bidders with a fair opportunity to compete. Procurement decisions should be based on the requirements and evaluation criteria applicable to the relevant procurement process. Publication of a tender does not guarantee the award of a contract to any bidder.
Suppliers and bidders should disclose relevant actual or potential conflicts of interest where required.
Undisclosed conflicts or improper relationships that could compromise the fairness or integrity of a procurement process may affect participation in that process.
WAP does not require suppliers to make unofficial payments to individuals in order to obtain preferential treatment in a procurement process.
Any suspicious request for personal payment, commission, gift or other improper benefit claiming to influence a WAP procurement decision should be reported through the appropriate WAP reporting mechanism.
Official public procurement opportunities should be verified through WAPGlobal.org or another official channel expressly identified by WAP.
Be cautious of individuals or websites claiming to represent WAP and requesting unofficial payments or sensitive information outside an authorized procurement process.
Suspected fraud or impersonation should be reported to WAP through the appropriate reporting mechanism.
WAP may amend, extend, suspend or cancel a procurement opportunity where appropriate.
Any official changes affecting a public tender should be communicated through the relevant procurement notice or authorized communication channel.
Bidders should rely on the latest official information published or communicated for the relevant opportunity.
Information submitted through procurement processes will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements and the nature of the procurement process.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the WAP Privacy Policy.
WAP values suppliers and service providers that demonstrate professionalism, integrity and responsible business conduct.
Where relevant, suppliers may also be expected to respect appropriate safeguarding, ethical and conduct requirements connected with WAP's humanitarian activities.
